I had midterms this whole week after my birthday (7th March - 11th March) - so much work on!
Peter Mills kindly invited me to The Met Opera House at the Lincoln Centre on Friday 11th March to enjoy a performance of the Russian opera - 'Queen of Spades' starring Tatianna Mills as a young child playing a solider! I was unfamilar with the story, but was absolutely hooked by half way through which is when Peter, Anna, Anna's mother and Tatianna joined us at this point all went to go and enjoy a very spoilingly cheese platter with chocolate strawberries and champagne! All exceptionally kind!! I thoroughly enjoyed the Opera and by far the Prince's solo was my favourite moment. Will I remember those 3 cards??
My favourite Opera rankings must be ... 1) La Traviata 2) La Boheme 3) Queen of Spades.
To clarify - Rusalka does not rank in my book :( Czech operas are not to my taste!
Later on in the evening, after midnight - I met some friends in Soho for a quick drink! Below: Sophie, Charlotte and I!
